DELHI- KASAULI (330 KM / ABOUT 8 HRS DRIVE)
Arrive New Delhi airport/railways station and meet our representative with garland welcome. Drive to Kasauli. 77-km from Shimla and 35-km from Kalka, at 1,927m, Kasauli is a quaint little town that seems to exist in a time wrap of an era that reminds one of the 19th century. Its colonial ambience is reinforced by cobbled paths, quaint shops, gabled houses with charming facades and scores of neat little gardens and orchards. Mixed forests of chir-pine, Himalayan oak and huge horse chestnuts surround Kasauli. Its narrow road slither up and down the hillsides and offer some magnificent vistas. Overnight stay in Kasauli.

After breakfast proceed to Shimla (75 kms / 2 hrs) a charming hill station, surrounded by the green pastures and snow capped hills. Arrive in Shimla & check into the hotel. Later visit Jakhoo Temple, Christ Church and Mall Road.  Evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay in Shimla.

After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion tour of Kufri & Chail, Kufri a popular ski resort in winters, which offers some stunning mountain views , Later drive to Chail and visit the Palace of former Maharaja of Patiyala. Return to the Hotel and evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla

Morning after breakfast, drive to Manali. Manali is located near the northern end of Kullu Valley & on the banks of River Beas. Manali – an important hill station & breathtaking natural beauty is the hallmark of this valley. Enroute enjoy the amazing view of the beautiful villages situated among the green Hills On arrival in Manali, check into the hotel & relax. Overnight stay in Manali.

After breakfast start your sightseeing of Manali including Hadimba Devi & Manu temple in Old Manali, hot water spring at Vashist templeArjun Gufa (Cave of Arjun) & take a walk on Mall Road to see the colourful Market of Manali. Overnight in Manali.

After breakfast visit Rohtag pass (Closed on Tuesday). Manali is the gateway to Rohtang pass beyond which lie the twin valley of Lahaul and Spiti. In winter the mountain slopes are snow clad and they turn into perfect skiing slopes. This point is one of the main attraction for tourists coming to Manali. Later return back to Manali. Overnight stay in Manali.

After breakfast drive to Dharamsala, Dharamsala lies on the backdrop of the snow-draped Dhauladhar Mountains, a sub-system of the Himalaya, the town is surrounded by woods of pine and deodar and commands majestic views of the main range and the Kangra Valley below. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight in Dharamsala.

After breakfast proceed to visit the Baijnath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Later visit the Tibetan monastery in Maclodganj (upper Dharamshala) a seat of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. Rest of the day is at leisure or explore local Tibetan markets at the Maclodgunj. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Early morning check out from the hotel and drive to Khajjiar,  a small picturesque saucer-shaped plateau surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, is one of the 160 places throughout the world to have been designated “Mini Switzerland”. Yes, this is Khajjiar, a tiny tourist resort in Chamba about 24 kms from Dalhousie; at an altitude of 6,500 ft. above sea level. The moment one enters the picturesque Khajjiar, one is welcomed by a yellow Swiss sign for ‘hiking path’ which reads “Mini Switzerland”. Overnight stay in Khajjiar.

After breakfast drive to Dalhousie, is spread out over five hills & named after the 19th century British Governor General Lord Dalhousie. Located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas, it is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of snow-capped peaks. Dalhousie is situated at 6000-9000 feet above sea level. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later visit the Panjpulla (A pretty spot, where water from natural sources flows under five bridges), Bara Patthar (small temple), Bakrota hills (offers magnificent views of the snow clad peaks). Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

After breakfast enjoy full day excursion to Chamba. It’s raining on the ranges of Chamba. The clouds have formed garland like images, my friends have joined hands to form a swing.  The mountain spurs are all washed up – green and verdant. The trees by the sides of roads and Deodars, tail and mighty, are tidy, spruce and sleek.  The clouds form the luring and enticing images and then instantly dissolve them. The sun breaks itself up into pieces and then bears the clouds in the race playing hide and; seek with them. Who can miss Himachal in Monsoon? Later in the late afternoon return back to Dalhousie. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

Morning after breakfast drive to Amritsar.  Its name derives from the name of the pool around the Golden Temple and means “holy pool of nectar”. It is the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion. The beautiful and unique Golden Temple was initiated by Guru Ramdaas Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, and completed in 1601 by his successor Guru Arjun Dev Ji.  On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Afternoon drive about 30 Km to Wagha Border (Indo-Pak Border) & enjoy flag ceremony. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Early morning visit the Golden temple in Sunrise. Later back to hotel for breakfast. After that visit the Jaliawala Bagh, this site is witness to one of the most brutal incidents that took place during the Indian freedom struggle & to pay homage to the thousands killed in this incident, the Jallianwala Bagh was built, later visit other Hindu temples & museum of Summer Palace. Later transfer to Railway station to board train for Delhi.
